1. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy applies to Daiman Development Berhad, its subsidiaries, affiliates, related corporations, and joint venture companies (collectively, the “Daiman Group”).
References to “Daiman”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in this Policy shall include Daiman Development Berhad and any company within the Daiman Group. Each company within the Daiman Group may act as a data controller in its own right, depending on the nature of the transaction or engagement.
This Policy is prepared in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709) and its subsequent amendments, including the PDPA (Amendment) Act 2024, together with applicable regulations and guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (collectively referred to as “PDPA”).
2. Personal Data Collected
We may collect and process personal data including, but not limited to:
- Identity details (name, NRIC/passport, date of birth, gender, nationality, race, TIN number)
- Contact details (address, telephone number, email)
- Employment and financial information (employer, occupation, income, bank details)
- Property purchase and ownership details
- Biometric data (where lawfully collected, e.g. fingerprint or facial recognition for access control)
- CCTV images and visitor records at our premises
- Other information relevant to transactions, services, or dealings with the Daiman Group
3. Sources of Personal Data
Personal data may be obtained from:
- Application forms, contracts, and related documents
- Employment applications, recruitment processes, and staff records maintained by Daiman Group
- Membership applications, enrolments in loyalty or recreational programmes, and related forms
- Daiman Group websites, portals, or mobile applications
- Interactions with our staff, agents, or representatives
- CCTV recordings at our premises
- Events, surveys, and marketing programmes
- Lawful sources such as regulators, government agencies, and credit reporting agencies
- Any other sources permitted or required by law, regulations, or relevant contractual arrangements
4. Personal Data of Third Parties
In certain circumstances, you may provide personal data concerning other individuals—such as your spouse, dependents, children, next-of-kin, or related persons—for purposes connected with your interactions with Daiman Group. By doing so, you represent and warrant that you have obtained their consent to the disclosure and processing of their personal data by Daiman Group in accordance with this Policy.
5. Purposes of Processing
We process personal data for purposes including:
- Property transactions, agreements, and vacant possession
- Payments, billings, collections, and refunds
- Credit assessments, background checks, and verification with third parties
- Progress updates, notices, and communications on properties, facilities, and services
- Property-related services (utilities, insurance, maintenance)

- Any other purposes that are incidental, related, or reasonably necessary to the above, or as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations
6. Consent
By providing your personal data to Daiman Group, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes stated in this Policy.
- You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
- For marketing and promotional purposes, you may exercise your right to opt-out by selecting the option provided in our forms or by contacting us directly.
- Where sensitive personal data (e.g., biometric data, health information) is collected, Daiman Group will obtain your explicit consent.
- If you provide personal data concerning other individuals (e.g., spouse, dependents, children, next-of-kin), you represent and warrant that you have obtained their consent for disclosure and processing by Daiman Group in accordance with this Policy.
- If you are below the age of 18, consent must be provided or authorised by your parent or legal guardian before you submit any personal data to Daiman Group.
7. Disclosure of Personal Data
Your personal data may be disclosed to:
- Companies within the Daiman Group
- Professional advisers, auditors, banks, and financial institutions
- Credit reporting agencies and insurers
- Contractors, service providers, and IT vendors
- Regulators, government authorities, and law enforcement agencies
- Any other parties where such disclosure is necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy or as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations
8. Cross-Border Transfers
Where necessary, your personal data may be transferred outside Malaysia. Such transfers will only be made to jurisdictions that provide substantially similar or adequate levels of data protection as required under the PDPA.
9. Security Safeguards
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only, and our data processors are also required to comply with the PDPA.
10. Retention of Personal Data
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or to satisfy legal, regulatory, and business requirements. Once no longer required, data will be securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
11. Accuracy of Personal Data
You are responsible for ensuring the personal data you provide is accurate and up to date. Please notify us promptly of any changes.
12. Your Rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data (a prescribed fee may apply)
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of personal data (subject to legal/contractual restrictions)
- Withdraw consent to processing of personal data, including marketing
- Request data portability to another controller, subject to technical feasibility

14. Compliance Commitment
We are committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709), the PDPA (Amendment) Act 2024, and all applicable regulations, orders, and guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commissioner. Daiman Group will handle all personal data in accordance with legal requirements and recognised best practices.
15. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be published on the Daiman Group website or communicated through appropriate channels. The latest version will always be available online.

Polisi Privasi ini terpakai kepada Daiman Development Berhad, anak syarikat, sekutu, syarikat berkaitan, dan perusahaan bersama (secara kolektif dirujuk sebagai “Daiman Group”).
Rujukan kepada “Daiman”, “kami”, “kita” atau “kami” merangkumi Daiman Development Berhad dan mana-mana entiti dalam Daiman Group. Setiap satu syarikat mungkin bertindak sebagai pengawal data (data controller) sendiri, bergantung pada sifat transaksi atau penglibatan.
Dasar ini disediakan selaras dengan Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (Akta 709), sebagaimana yang telah dipinda oleh Akta (Pindaan) PDPA 2024, dan tertakluk kepada semua peraturan serta garis panduan yang berkuat kuasa yang dikeluarkan oleh Pesuruhjaya Perlindungan Data Peribadi (secara kolektif dirujuk sebagai “PDPA”).
2. Pengumpulan Data Peribadi
Kami mungkin mengumpul dan memproses data peribadi termasuk, tetapi tidak terhad kepada:
- Butiran identiti (nama, NRIC/pasport, tarikh lahir, jantina, kewarganegaraan, kaum, nombor cukai pendapatan)
- Butiran berhubung (alamat, nombor telefon, e‑mel)
- Maklumat pekerjaan & kewangan (majikan, pekerjaan, pendapatan, butiran bank)
- Maklumat pembelian dan pemilikan hartanah
- Data biometrik (dengan persetujuan sah seperti cap jari atau pengecaman wajah bagi kawalan akses)
- Imej CCTV dan rekod pelawat di premis kami
- Maklumat lain yang relevan dengan transaksi, perkhidmatan, atau urusan dengan Daiman Group
3. Sumber Data Peribadi
Data peribadi boleh diperoleh melalui:
- Borang permohonan, kontrak, dan dokumen berkaitan
- Permohonan pekerjaan, proses pengambilan, dan rekod kakitangan Daiman Group
- Permohonan keahlian, penyertaan dalam program kesetiaan atau riadah, dan borang berkaitan
- Laman web, portal, atau aplikasi mudah alih Daiman Group
- Interaksi dengan kakitangan, ejen, atau wakil kami
- Rakaman kamera litar tertutup (CCTV) di premis kami
- Acara, tinjauan, dan program pemasaran
- Sumber sah seperti badan pengawal selia, agensi kerajaan, dan agensi pelaporan kredit
- Mana-mana sumber lain yang dibenarkan atau dikehendaki oleh undangundang, peraturan, atau perjanjian kontrak yang berkaitan.
4. Data Peribadi Pihak Ketiga
Sekiranya anda menyediakan data peribadi individu lain—contohnya pasangan, tanggungan, anak-anak, waris terdekat—bagi tujuan yang berkaitan dengan interaksi anda dengan Daiman Group. Tindakan sedemikian, anda mengisytiharkan bahawa anda telah mendapatkan persetujuan mereka untuk pendedahan dan pemprosesan oleh Daiman Group selaras dengan Polisi ini.
5. Tujuan Pemprosesan
Data peribadi diproses untuk tujuan termasuk:
a) Transaksi hartanah, perjanjian, dan penyerahan milik kosong
b) Proses pembayaran, pengebilan, kutipan, dan bayaran balik
c) Penilaian kredit, semakan latar belakang, dan pengesahan dengan pihak ketiga
d) Kemaskini perkembangan, notis, dan komunikasi mengenai hartanah, kemudahan, dan perkhidmatan
e) Perkhidmatan berkaitan hartanah (utiliti, insurans, penyelenggaraan)
f) Fungsi perkhidmatan pelanggan (aduan, maklum balas, tinjauan)
g) Simpanan rekod dalaman, pelaporan, audit, dan pentadbiran
h) Aktiviti pemasaran dan promosi (tertakluk kepada hak anda untuk menolak)
i) Pematuhan undangundang, peraturan, dan kontrak, termasuk berurusan dengan badan pengawal selia dan pihak berkuasa
j) Pentadbiran pekerjaan, penggajian, latihan, dan pengurusan sumber manusia
k) Pengurusan keahlian, kemudahan, dan program kesetiaan pelanggan
l) Mana-mana tujuan lain yang bersangkutan, berkaitan, atau munasabah perlu kepada yang di atas, atau seperti yang dikehendaki atau dibenarkan oleh undangundang.
6. Persetujuan
Dengan menyediakan data peribadi kepada Daiman Group, anda memberi persetujuan terhadap pengumpulan, penggunaan dan pendedahan data peribadi untuk tujuan yang dinyatakan.
- Anda boleh menarik balik persetujuan pada bila-bila masa dengan menghubungi kami, tertakluk kepada sekatan undang‑undang atau kontrak.
- Untuk tujuan pemasaran dan promosi, anda boleh memilih untuk tidak menerima maklumat tersebut melalui pilihan yang disediakan atau menghubungi pihak kami secara langsung.
- Bagi data peribadi sensitif (contohnya data biometrik, maklumat kesihatan), Daiman Group akan mendapatkan persetujuan eksplisit anda.
- Sekiranya anda memberikan data peribadi yang berkaitan dengan individu lain (contohnya, pasangan, tanggungan, anak-anak, waris terdekat), anda mengakui dan menjamin bahawa anda telah memperoleh persetujuan mereka untuk pendedahan dan pemprosesan oleh Daiman Group selaras dengan Dasar ini.
- Jika anda menyediakan data individu berumur di bawah 18 tahun, persetujuan ibu bapa atau penjaga sah perlu diperolehi sebelum penghantaran data tersebut kepada Daiman Group.
7. Pendedahan Data Peribadi
Data anda mungkin didedahkan kepada:
- Syarikat dalam Daiman Group
- Penasihat profesional, juruaudit, bank, dan institusi kewangan
- Agensi pelaporan kredit dan penanggung insurans
- Kontraktor, penyedia perkhidmatan, dan vendor IT
- Pengawal selia, pihak berkuasa kerajaan, dan pihak penguatkuasa undang‑undang
- Pihak lain di mana pendedahan diperlukan untuk tujuan yang dinyatakan didalam Polisi ini atau seperti yang dikehendaki atau dibenarkan oleh undangundang.
8. Pemindahan Rentas Sempadan
Sekiranya perlu, data peribadi anda boleh dipindahkan ke luar Malaysia, tertakluk kepada bahawa negara penerima mempunyai tahap perlindungan data setimpal atau adalah memadai seperti ditetapkan di bawah PDPA.
9. Langkah Keselamatan
Kami melaksanakan langkah-langkah pentadbiran, teknikal dan fizikal yang wajar untuk melindungi data daripada kehilangan, penyalahgunaan, capaian tanpa izin, pendedahan, pengubahan, dan pemusnahan. Akses terhad kepada kakitangan yang diberi kuasa dan pemproses data juga wajib mematuhi PDPA.
10. Penahanan Data
Data peribadi disimpan hanya selama diperlukan untuk tujuan dikumpulkan atau untuk memenuhi keperluan undangundang, peraturan, dan perniagaan. Setelah tidak lagi diperlukan, data akan dipadam, dimusnahkan, atau dianonimkan dengan selamat.
11. Ketepatan Data Peribadi
Anda bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan data peribadi yang anda berikan adalah tepat dan terkini. Sila maklumkan kepada kami segera jika terdapat sebarang perubahan.
12. Hak Anda
Di bawah PDPA, anda mempunyai hak untuk:
- Akses data peribadi anda (bayaran mungkin dikenakan)
- Meminta pembetulan terhadap data yang tidak tepat atau tidak lengkap
- Meminta penghapusan data peribadi (tertakluk kepada sekatan undang‑undang/kontrak)
- Menarik balik persetujuan terhadap pemprosesan data peribadi, termasuk untuk tujuan pemasaran
- Meminta pemindahan data kepada pengawal lain (portabiliti data), tertakluk kepada kelayakan teknikal.

14. Komitmen Pematuhan
Kami komited untuk mematuhi Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (Akta 709), PDPA (Pindaan) Akta 2024, serta semua peraturan, perintah dan garis panduan yang dikeluarkan oleh Pesuruhjaya Perlindungan Data Peribadi. Daiman Group akan mengendalikan semua data peribadi mengikut keperluan undang‑undang dan amalan terbaik diiktiraf.
15. Kemaskini Polisi
Polisi Privasi ini mungkin dikemaskini dari semasa ke semasa. Sebarang perubahan penting akan diumumkan di laman web Daiman Group atau melalui saluran yang sesuai. Versi terkini akan sentiasa tersedia secara dalam talian.
